With the funding year 2020, changes for the program Support Tour Funding have become effective and must be taken into account when submitting applications:
Berlin-based musicians and bands who go on tour with a more established band can receive grants of up to 2.500,00 €. From 2020, this is the maximum possible sum that can be requested.
In addition, from now on the required documents must be submitted via online application at least three weeks before the start of the tour.
Furthermore, from 2020 a jury will be appointed for the Support Tour Funding program.
We are particularly pleased that we can designate the jury as follows: Andrea Wünsche, booker Monkeytown Booking; Sebastian Hoffmann, consultant, program director and organiser Down by the River Festival; and Katja Lucker as managing director of Musicboard Berlin GmbH. Applications will be considered continuously between January 2 and November 20, 2020. We look forward to all incoming applications and – in order to ensure gender-equitable funding – would like to especially encourage female*, trans*, inter* and non-binary artists to apply!
