Down by the River Festival

For over ten years, Down by the River Festival has been focussing on unknown and up-and-coming artists from Berlin. Striding through a span of styles and scenes, it is for anyone prepared to embark on an unpredictably curated and high-quality music programme – somewhere between young and old, new and rediscovered. While in past years the festival was a regular guest in the outdoor area of the //:about blank, in 2020, Down by the River Festival took place as a 12-day pandemic-compliant online event. Participating artists and bands included Albertine Sarges, Angela Aux, Baumarkt, DC Schneider, Destinys Chlid, Luis Ake, Jakob Dobers & Band, Magic Island, Maxi Pongratz Solo, Mir Express, Seth Faergolzia and Zampanò e Amici.
