Call for Concepts: 2nd Funding round 2020

The application forms for the funding programs Karrieresprungbrett Berlin and Pop im Kiez have just been activated on our website.

Until April 1, 2020, the application for the funding program Karrieresprungbrett Berlin is possible for projects and platforms that support up-and-coming talents in the music industry and musicians, ranging form all genres and subgenres of pop music, in order to facilitate significant leaps towards a professional, national and international career (e.g. through a series of concerts, workshops, interdisciplinary formats). For the funding program Pop im Kiez projects are invited to apply that make a contribution towards the acceptance of live pop music in a particular Berlin neighbourhood in the form of pilot projects, a campaign or (a series) of interventions.

We are looking to receiving creative and innovative applications, which not only reflect the diversity of Berlin’s music scene, but also explicitly focus on the promotion of women* and PoC in pop culture, the strengthening of the LGBTQI+ scene, as well as accessibility and inclusion.

Label Funding – March 15 for the 2nd quarter of 2020 / June 15 for the 3rd quarter of 2020 / September 15 for the 4th quarter of 2020

Support Tour Funding – ongoing application possible between January 2 and November 30, 2020
