Taking place in one of the city’s most rapidly changing neighbourhoods, the Veteranenstraßenfest in Berlin-Mitte strives to be a site of encounter and a forum for contemporary music from Berlin. In 2022, it was held for the eighth time. As always, the street festival’s organisers wanted to remember the neighbourhood’s cultural past and showcase exciting music. There were several concerts spread over two stages, a flea market and a record and music market. DJ Newcleus, Kitty Solaris and Sorry Gilberto were among those who took part.
