The SoundSysters are a feminist sound crew that was founded in 2013 by women working as self-employed audio engineers. The collective is united by a vision to change Berlin’s live music scene, especially its gender diversity, by increasing the number of women and trans people working within the field of sound. Building on previous projects, they are strengthening and expanding their existing network, in particular through workshops for FLINTA that focus on sound engineering, DJing, recording, music production, software, controllers and mixing, electricity and safety, and P.A.
