Alongside inclusive participation in pop culture, a sustainable and forward-thinking music industry is an important concern of Musicboard. For this reason, Musicboard regularly offers training opportunities for funded and interested parties together with experts.
We cordially invite you to an online info session on sustainability at music events on 16 April (in German) and 19 April 2024 (in English) from 3–5 p.m. The session will be hosted by Fine Stammnitz. She is the founder of the Green Touring Network, which aims to encourage the music industry to make a contribution to protecting the environment.
In addition to an introduction to climate justice and environmental management, she will discuss practical questions such as: What does sustainable event organising actually mean in more specific terms? Which topics are relevant for planning and implementing a more sustainable event? What can I do straight away? And is there anything else to consider apart from reducing emissions? The session will also cover topics such as intersectionality, digital sustainability and communication on sustainability.
The online session is primarily addressed to project organisers who apply for Musicboard’s project funding. Further interested Berlin-based event organisers are welcome to participate. Participation is free of charge.
