Costantino Toth aka Onirologia works as a composer and sound engineer, conceiving sound as an »achronological archive«, tying in themes of transformation and home. Her working method is based on the fallibility of recording, a »conceptual commitment to the sample«, and attention to those spaces where sound finds a home. Onirologia’s first single, titled ›Bernardino Da Siena‹, was created in a medieval church in Italy. The conceptual track – which emerged as part of a residency and an exploration of space and history – critiques and confronts the Roman Catholic Church and its brutal treatment of women, non-binary and queer people. In addition to her production work on the album ›For My Mama And Anyone Who Look Like Her‹ by US rapper McKinley Dixon, Constantino Toth is developing music for a dance theatre production at the National Opera in Kiev.
In 2021, Onirologia is receiving a grant of 4,000 euros for the realisation of her album ›Rainbow Capitalism‹.
