Music for Cinemas is a concert series turning cinemas into sites for music. The screen becomes a back, making room for atmospheric sound explorations. Music for Cinemas offers a new, cosy and unusual venue for Berlin’s music, art and film scenes. The concert evenings, entitled Geräusche (»Noises«), presented artists and interdisciplinary collaborations at the intersection of audio and video, promoting exchange between more established artists and younger Berlin talents. In 2019, acts like Friederike Jäger, Bora, Lindred, Huellkurve, The Karmic Laws and Emme could be seen live.
