After studying veterinary medicine and music education in Berlin, Isabel (Izzy) Ment began writing and producing her debut EP ›As The Words Come Through‹ with Jesse Barnes. Within two weeks, the EP was recorded and mixed by Grammy-Award-winner Jeremy Loucas. In the following years Ment toured throughout Europe as a multi-instrumentalist and accompanied several renowned international bands as a support act. With US-American roots, Ment lives and works in Berlin, having collaborated with artists from the fields of installation art and poetry. Izzy Ment performs regularly with Charlotte Brandi, Sam Vance-Law and Stella Sommer. In 2021, Ment is working on an album with a queer, soft and intersectional ecofeminist vision, with new songs oscillating between fragility and strength.
In 2021, Ment is receiving a grant of 4,000 euros for the production of the music video for the single ›Hover‹.
