Mapp has quietly been making appearances in the Berlin music scene for the last six years. She has released two EPs and performed at various clubs and events in Berlin, including Berghain’s Panorama Bar, the Pop-Kultur festival, and most recently OHM. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Mapp now resides in Berlin, where she finds creating to be a cathartic process, using poetry, vocal layering, experimental sounds, visuals, and personal experiences from both past and present as her starting point. In 2018, Mapp was granted a residency for DAF Struttura’s Experimental Academy in Turin, Italy. In 2023, she releases her first solo EP project in Berlin.
Mapp receives a grant of 6,000 euros in 2023. In the course of the grant Mapp receives coaching from Nicky Böhm.
