Inspired by its unused vacancy, ten students from the Cultural Work programme at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences took on the task of transforming the former ESSO petrol station at Hermannplatz into a temporary cultural venue. The participating artists expressed the diversity of Neukölln, reflecting it with an interdisciplinary approach through music, performance and dance. The project aimed to include marginalised groups both in its structure and its programming while also providing a low-threshold cultural experience that consciously breaks down barriers to participation and promotes inclusion. Among the participating artists were WaqWaq Kingdom, Luis Valle, and Natascha Kann.
