Johnny Kulo combines old-school soul and R&B. Laid-back grooves, thicc harmonies and catchy melodies – in his music, the Indian artist and producer, now living in Berlin, fuses a whole range of influences in a sophisticated way. As the son of a pastor, Johnny Kulo began his musical career at the age of four. Performing weekly in church gospel formations on drums, he then learned piano and guitar, eventually discovering his love for songwriting. Today, Johnny Kulo transforms stories about love, heartbreak, identity, finding faith and everyday life into music, brings them directly to his audience with the soft sound of his voice.
In 2021, Johnny Kulo is receiving a grant of 6,000 euros to carry out a range of promotional and marketing activities.
