Since 2010, the event series Expatriarch Generations has focused on musicians who examine, question or artistically deconstruct traditional concepts such as gender, genre and age in their music. Berlin-based up-and-coming musicians are supported by established Berlin-based artists through joint interviews, studio sessions, performances or DJ sets. Due to the intensive PR support of the artists and the sustainable exchange between experienced and young musicians, the Musicboard decided to support Expartriarch Generation for the second year in a row. In 2015, the artists Aérea Negrot – Longopus, Christiane Rösinger – Normal Love, Bettina Köster – P.U.F.F. and Tama Sumo – The Neighbourhood Character were among those who participated.
