Empower is an Afro-futuristic and queer-feminist festival and presented some of the most important current work by queer people and/or BPoC active in music, audiovisual and visual art. Empower offers marginalized and under-represented artists a space to explore, form new collaborations and redirect part of the cultural capital that so often gets unevenly distributed in musical and artistic communities. The audience could experience Anthony Hüseyin, Charm Mone, Mandhla, Slim Soledad and Xenohe.
