The situation for initiatives, clubs and free spaces for (cultural) projects within big cities becomes more and more precarious. New openings are exceptions proving the rule. If cities and its government cannot offer those free spaces any longer, mobile ones could be a solution: Antje Øklesund 2.0, a mobile cube, is a direct reaction to closing clubs and transformed cultural landscape. It is meant to be a safe space for concerts that take place inside and will be transmitted to the outside, in this way combining both, cynosure and source of irritation, at the same time. Under the title Club Stadt Video the project is meant to draw a portrait of each playing band, the residents and their urban living space using cameras inside and outside the cube.
