HellD

HellD stands for Hellersdorf, an area that has always been classified as a peripheral district of Berlin. Under the motto »Periphery,« the one-day HellD festival deals with the local art and cultural scene as well as the conditions of Berlin’s suburbs as a place for culture. In August 2020, the diverse programme offered curious residents the opportunity to explore the neighborhood conditional boundaries together with city walks, panel discussion, workshops, readings and talks, and of course on stage with music acts such as Jakob Dobers & Band and Chor der Statistik under the direction of Bernadette La Hengst.
