Since June 2020, YAAM’s indoor venue has been closed by building authorities, meaning that for the time being, events can only take place in their outdoor area. Still, YAAM continues to fulfil its mission of organising concerts and events that maintain a standard of cosmopolitanism and artistic quality. In summer 2023, YAAM hosts open-air events with local and international acts representing the genres of reggae, hip-hop, afrobeats, and dub, celebrating diversity and subculture. All the while, YAAM is asserting itself a location amidst the new Mercedes-Benz neighbourhood. The lineups features names such as Ekowmania & The Rhythmers, Sonic Interventions, and Alai K aka Disco Vumbi.
