Jasmina de Boer and Lukas Streich are We Will Kaleid. In their experimental, electronic art-pop, the duo focuses on dysfunctional aspects of interpersonal communication, highlighting the struggle to break out of negative patterns. Musically, however, We Will Kaleid limit themselves to a few multifaceted vocal and beat fragments. Digitally augmented and embedded on analogue synthesizer foundations, the band creates minimalistic but nevertheless dense arrangements, which sometimes create anxious, then ecstatic atmospheres. We Will Kaleid self-released their debut album ›A Shape Of Fading‹, followed by several singles and a double EP in cooperation with the Berlin label Sinnbus, as well as their own club tour and concerts at several unusual venues – from art galleries to a mine.
In May 2022 We Will Kaleid were on tour with Hundreds and therefore received Musicboard’s Support Tour Funding.
