VESSEL is a transdisciplinary art residency dedicated to collaboration and experimentation. The programme for experimental music and visual arts aims to foster deep collaborations between artists with varied backgrounds. In 2023, the project offers workspaces and time for creation for twelve musicians, performers, dancers, visual artists and stage designers at the new arts venue 90mil. Halfway through the ten-day residency, a two-hour live broadcast is realised on Cashmere Radio. In addition, a final performance weaves a multi-layered programme of instrument building, improvisation sessions, audiovisual installations, site-specific pieces, and collective performances. The line-up features Diane Barbé, Laure Boer, Jonathan Braun, Joe Summers, and Janberk Turan, among others.
