Reintroducing the complicated. With linguistic bulkiness, Trucks form the antithesis of both mainstream and teenage Deutschpop. Trucks are also about the self and its affects, that’s for sure. And yet, their sound comprises so much dissonance and an aesthetic of tension that they do justice to the early Hamburg School.
