On the occasion of the Transgender Day of Remembrance on the 20th November, 2021, Berlin-based sound artist Kim W. aka Bodyfool collected stories and personal accounts from people around the world on their experiences with body-altering measures. What did the process feel like immediately before and after? What was the experience of hospitalisation and recovery like? How did sex and intimacy change? Based on these narratives, three female, non-binary and queer composers imagined a soundscape that empowers and uplifts marginalised voices to overcome the state of isolation in a shared space of solidarity. The intersectional feminist network Heroines Wave provides The Weave, a low-barrier online platform that enabled the streaming of the podcast series as a »Tapestry of Intimate Testimonies from Womxn Worldwide«.
