Since starting in 2010, Sound & Vision has become one of the biggest events at the interfilm International Short Film Festival Berlin. Usually, up to ten different live acts perform for a live audience on one evening, presenting newly composed soundtracks to short films projected on the big screen. Recalling the silent-film era, Sound & Vision as a festival-within-a-festival combines sonic and visual worlds in a new way, transporting the unique, spontaneous and unpredictable magic from the beginnings of cinema into the present day. In 2020, interfilm took place online in order to help contain the spread of the coronavirus. Among the artists who presented their scores at Sound & Vision 2020 were Duvnjak & Franque, Catenation, Toolbox Orchestra and Bantu Nago Jêje.
