Sound of Berlin combines forces of different Berlin based electronic/dance labels and artists for a common international commercialization on streaming platforms. For the launch, 12 labels are on board, more are about to follow. Streaming and playlist strategies have become an important element when it comes to artist commercialization. A Sound of Berlin playlist will be arranged, which will be presented on a weekly basis by an artist and which will be shared via the respective artist’s channels. Besides the artist’s increase of popularity, a central contact point for Berlin’s club vibe – always and anywhere reachable – is to be developed.
