People Club are a five-piece indie soul band formed in Berlin in late 2017. Their distinctive aesthetic blends social-commentary lyrics with classic soul-ensemble sounds, brought into the 21st century with a generous helping of lavish effects and synthesisers. Regulars on the local indie circuit, with performance dates in Dublin and London, they are fast becoming crowd favourites known for their high-energy shows. In 2019, the band is working on their debut EP.
For 2019, People Club are receiving a grant in the amount of 2,500 euros for the production and promotion of an EP.
