The Panafrican Festival Berlin was conceived with the idea of presenting strong and diverse pan-African perspectives to the Berlin public. Along the way, the founders have aimed to help break down prejudices and offer the African community a space for encounter. Due to the pandemic, the event was designed as a hybrid – the physical exhibition in Neukölln attracted just as many visitors as the virtual exhibition format. Guests included Freak de l’Afrique, Juba, Heart Beats of Africa and Aka Kelz.
