Rap duo PALAS, consisting of female MCs Tina Turnup and Babylit, produces versatile, new-school music. Floating from the trap to the cloud, PALAS sound sugar-sweet and provocative at the same time. Tina Turnup, with her smokey mysterious voice and intense presence, embodies a wild spirit of liberation. Despite her stubbornness, she conveys a strong feeling of love with a subtle delivery and sexy whispers. Babylit complements Tina Turnup with a fire that’s more than a part of her name – it’s a substantial part of her artistic being: sweet rap meets a sharp tongue and a performance that fascinates the audience like a dance on a volcano.
For 2020, PALAS receive a grant in the amount of 2,500 euros for the recording of a debut EP, its release and promotion.
