With an affinity for decentralised discourse and experimental practices, the workshop series Nuts And Bolts aims to open up spaces of learning and experimentation where primarily young FLINTA and BIPOC musicians engage with music-technology tools. During the workshops, which have taken place between August and November 2021, participants have learned how to work with modular synthesisers and live coding, among other things, in an atmosphere where mistakes are welcome. Other central elements of current artistic creation have been software such as Ableton Live and Max/MSP. Partly online, partly live at Liebig12, the workshops were led by artists such as Ale Hop, Felicity Mangan and Ioana Vreme.
