The state-owned Musicboard Berlin GmbH is looking for a Managing Director for an initial three-year term starting 1 January 2025.
Suitable candidates should have several years of experience in a leading position in cultural or music management, excellent communication skills and a strong network in the local, national and international pop culture scene. In addition, knowledge of business administration, leadership and a high level of diversity competence are required. The perception of state interests is also expected.
The Supervisory Board of Musicboard Berlin GmbH will be supported in the application process by an advisory committee consisting of Udo Dahmen (former Artistic Director and Managing Director of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg), Andrea Rothaug (Managing Director of RockCity Hamburg e.V.) and Mona Rübsamen (Managing Director of FluxFM GmbH).
Following Katja Lucker, Marie von der Heydt has taken over as interim Managing Director of Musicboard Berlin GmbH since 2 January 2024.
