Under the title Menschu Hi Menschu (human is human) the DeutschSintiRoma Festival with free admission focuses on marginalised artistic perspectives. With a diverse programme, the association Mingru Jipen welcomes those interested as well as representatives from other Berlin-based cultures to join at Alexanderplatz at a two-day festival in 2023. One of the organisers’ particular concerns is holding the festival at a centrally located venue in order to enable participation and create visibility for Sinti and Roma. Luis Salinas & Juan Salinas, Ukrainske-Ruske Roma, Los Carlos Ensemble, Daniel & Niunia Mersztein and Francisco Batista Ensemble are among the acts that take part.
