Lüül

Lüül (Lutz Graf-Ulbrich) is a Berlin-born musician, singer/songwriter, and guitar player. He played in German Krautrock bands like Agitation Free and Ash Ra Tempel, and accompanied Nico (of the Velvet Underground) on guitar at many of her concerts through the 70s in Europe, the USA, and Canada. He had a hit single in the 80s and was part of the band 17 Hippies from the very start. Besides an autobiography, ›Und ich folge meiner Spur‹, he also wrote a book about his time with Nico called ›Nico – In The Shadow Of The Moon Goddess‹.

For 2018, Lüül is receiving a grant in the amount of 5,000 euros for the production of an album with his band.
