Linda Finny is a Berlin newcomer who’s already perfected an infectiously energetic sound, managing to be both atmospheric and punk. She is currently working on her solo project ›Reward If Found‹, which deals with tragic themes in a direct and honest way. Musically, Linda Finny is inspired by Massive Attack, Portishead, PJ Harvey, and Nick Cave – at home in the synth/alternative rock and post-punk world and with a touch of nostalgia for the 1980s. Introversion, daydreaming, and a deep interest in complexity are what introduced her to music and poetry at an early age. With the intention of conveying strength, she rebels against all forms of perfection and affectation.
Linda Finny receives a grant of 2,200 euros in 2023.
