Dream and reality, desire, compulsion and knowledge form the basis of human passion. We move in the spaces in between, constantly changing perspectives. LIE NING is an artist from Berlin who gives this diffuse mixture of emotions a musical home. With a voice made of velvet, muted piano hammers, shimmering electronic elements and the pulse of racing hearts, he creates an intimacy that is sometimes frightening but mostly embracing. With his EP »traffic songs for the inbetweens« LIE NING in 2019 delivers a debut of international format, between indie, pop, wave, disco and hopeful melancholy.
In March 2020 LIE NING was on tour with ÄTNA and therefore received Musicboard’s Support Tour Funding.
