Kutzkelina aka Doreen Kutzke is a German actress, performance artist, composer, singer, and vocal teacher specialising in the art of yodelling. She grew up in the Harz Mountain region and started yodelling and singing at the age of six. Her activities include workshops, performances, and concerts with numerous groups. Kutzkelina founded the Jodelschule Kreuzberg and teaches yodelling and advanced vocal techniques worldwide. She has collaborated in numerous constellations, such as with Hermann Nitsch, Column One, Element of Crime, Parables, Fearless Bob, Malcolm Arison, Myriam Van Imschoot, Raionbashi, and the LA Free Music Society.
For 2018, Kutzkelina has been granted the residency at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles.
