Klangteppich (»Sound Carpet«) is a festival presenting contemporary musicians from the Iranian diaspora. The focus of the second issue in 2019 was on artists from other European cities, Iran and the USA as well as artists with a connection to Iran or who have worked with Iranian musicians. Special emphasis was placed on female artists. As in the previous year, the festival focused on specific instruments in new arrangements and pair visual elements with songs in German and Persian. Among others, Alireza Sheibani, Rojin Sharafi and Jaleh Negari were present.
