More than half their lives – that’s how long Kicker Dibs have been making music together. They are more like the family you can choose than a randomly formed rock band with an interchangeable line-up. And that’s exactly what characterizes their trio sound. In Kicker Dibs‘ opinion, German indie rock is carried by songwriting qualities, and less by spectacular guitar solos. The band’s songs are reduced to the essential. Straightforward rock meets singer-songwriter melancholy – it tingles in the foot, it tickles in the heart.
