With a unique sound, Kaleo Sansaa immediately captivates audiences. The artist creates a mesmerising blend of experimental hip-hop, trap, and Afro-pop. Following the successful release of the debut album ›Solarbased Kwing‹, Kaleo Sansaa unveiled a second album, ›Chii‹, in 2023. Kaleo Sansaa has already received nominations for several prestigious awards across Europe. In 2018, Kaleo Sansaa won the prize for Best Music Video at the Berlin Short Film Festival and was nominated for the Pop-NRW Award in 2019. With the albums ›Solarbased Kwing‹ and ›Chii‹, Kaleo Sansaa gained widespread media attention, giving interviews to outlets such as Musikexpress, RosaMag, WDR Cosmo, and Deutschlandfunk. On Kaleo Sansaa’s first headline tour in 2023, with shows in Berlin, Cologne, and Amsterdam, as well as performances on major stages including MS Dockville, Pop-Kultur Berlin, and the Ruhrtriennale, the artist impressed audiences with a powerful and distinctive presence.
In July 2022 Kaleo Sansaa was on tour with Noga Erez and therefore received Musicboard’s Support Tour Funding.
In 2024, Kaleo Sansaa receives a Musicboard scholarship of 4,500 euros to work on album production.
