The Femme*Hain concert series counteracts the marginalisation of FLINTA+, meaning women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender, and everyone facing discrimination from patriarchal structures due to their gender identity. The project’s main focus is on networking and strengthening subcultures. Femme*Hain gives visibility to FLINTA+, offering a stage to artists who are underrepresented in the punk spectrum, with a nod to the Ladyfests of the 1990s and early 2000s as inspiration.
In 2023, four concerts over four months offer space for wild partying, exchange, and solidarity. Once per month in loge., FLINTA-only concerts create a space free of patriarchal discrimination in Friedrichshain’s nightlife. The line-up includes Fatigue, Cosey Mueller, Cava, Kaos, and Baby of the Bunch, among others.
