A Berlin via New York transplant, Dis Fig’s music earnestly reflects her past and present. A member of NYC label PTP, whose mold-melting output is woven with the same thread as her own, her sound touches on a shifting landscape of club genres and welds together unusually paired ideas to construct a new storyline.
For 2017, Dis Fig is receiving a grant in the amount of 4,000 euros to complete the formation of her debut material.
