Danielle Arielli has always been surrounded by music. Her mother, a music teacher, taught her to sing and to play guitar and piano, and soon enough, she was experimenting on her mother’s keyboard and synthesiser as well as playing bass in her school band. So it’s hardly surprising that Arielli already knew at the age of 12 that she would have a career in music. Since 2015, the musician has been running her own studio in Berlin’s The Greenhouse, which is also home to her label Tooflez Muzik. Danielle Arielli’s productions and DJ sets are rooted in electronic dance music, resounding without pretence, opening up familiar sonic spaces and creating a communal drive. Further original productions are planned for 2022 on local and international labels, including her own.
In 2021, Danielle Arielli is receiving a grant of 4,000 euros to equip her studio and professionalise her artistic activities.
