NextGen is a new event series by Creamcake, an art and sound collective for experimental music. The collective is devoted to developing innovative projects, forms, and formats at the intersection of music, performance, art, and digital media, and to providing a platform for up-and-coming musicians in Berlin. NextGen prioritises gender diversity and supports primarily female, non-binary, trans, and POC musicians. In addition to the planned concert evenings, the project will produce a music compilation featuring the participating musicians and will publish the compilation online.
