CHILDREN are Steffi Parker and Laura Loop. Influenced by 90s pop music and the indie music of the early 2000s, they’ve been making music together for almost 10 years. They call it »Berlin Dream Pop«, and it’s somewhere between Fleetwood Mac, the Spice Girls, and The XX. Steffi and Laura have been friends for years, and this intimacy can be sensed and felt in their music. Together they sing about friendship and relationships, hypes and doubts. Their minimalistic arrangements are shaped by retro synth sounds and melodic basslines. Melancholia has never been so much fun.
For 2018, CHILDREN are receiving a grant in the amount of 6,000 euros to continue with the production of their second album ›When The Noise Gets Louder‹.
