For over 20 years, singer, rapper and freestyle MC Chabezo was the frontman of various group. In 2020, after a long period of musical silence, he is gave a sign of life: Chabezo. Solo. Six concept EPs have been released, ranging from classic representer tracks to storytelling approaches to political statements, social criticism and insights into personal thoughts and emotions. Chabezo is back with »rhymes galore and multifacetedness deluxe«, with a lot of craftsmanship and commitment, with realness and attention to detail – as the artist himself puts it. Under the slogan #rapgoescomic and in collaboration with the illustrator Frankenstoner, Chabezo gives his chronicle project a visual language that consistently thinks about the musical side.
In 2021, Chabezo is receiving a grant of 6,000 euros to continue his EP chronicle project.
