Call for Concepts: 2nd Funding Round 2022

Musicboard Berlin is pleased to announce that the application forms for the second funding round of the programmes Karrieresprungbrett Berlin and Pop im Kiez for the 2022 funding year have been activated.

Up until the application deadline on April 1, 2022 at 6 p.m., projects and platforms that support up-and-coming talent through a series of concerts, workshops or interdisciplinary formats in order to facilitate significant leaps towards a professional, national and international career can apply for the programme Karrieresprungbrett Berlin. The Pop im Kiez funding programme is aimed at projects – whether pilots, campaigns or a series of initiatives – that make a contribution towards the acceptance of live pop music in a particular Berlin neighbourhood.

DIVERSITY IN MUSICBOARD FUNDING

We are looking forward to receiving creative and innovative applications, which represent the social and cultural diversity of Berlin’s music scene. Musicboard places great importance on the funding of projects with plural perspectives, that implement gender-balanced and diverse line-ups as well as accessibility policies.

Once again, Musicboard will enable selected projects to receive advice on the topics of accessibility and inclusion from experts. Applicants who wish to receive such support can register this need directly in the application form in order to be selected for consultation.

APPLICATION MODALITIES

When submitting your application, please note the updated application modalities in the digital application system and only submit your cost statement through the updated application tool. Please note: Starting in 2022, all funding applications to the Musicboard Berlin must be submitted by 6 p.m.
