The application forms for the funding programmes Karrieresprungbrett Berlin and Pop im Kiez have just been activated on our website.
Up until the application deadline on April 1, 2021, the application for the funding programme Karrieresprungbrett Berlin is possible for projects and platforms that support up-and-coming talents through a series of concerts, workshops or interdisciplinary formats in order to facilitate significant leaps towards a professional, national and international career. Projects that make a contribution towards the acceptance of live pop music in a particular Berlin neighbourhood can apply for the Pop im Kiez funding programme. This can be realized by means of pilot projects, a campaign or a series of interventions. Please note that the future situation can currently not be assessed. We therefore recommend that projects be designed in such a way that they could also be implemented under corona conditions, for example digitally.
We are looking forward to receiving creative and innovative applications, which represent the social and cultural diversity of Berlin’s music scene. In the tendered programmes, Musicboard focuses on promoting women* and BIPOC in pop culture, strengthening the LGBTQI+ scene and on the topics of accessibility and inclusion. Since the funding year 2021, applicants who wish for support in the barrier-free planning of their event have been able to register this need directly in the application form in order to receive advice on the topics of accessibility, inclusion and awareness.
When submitting your application, please take into account that the project description as well as the specification costs must be submitted exclusively in the form of the templates provided by Musicboard.
