It’s common knowledge that female musicians often receive too little attention and that festivals book far fewer female acts than male acts. The concert series Barbiche On Air strives to counter this situation and to point to the presence and quality of female musicians. The concerts taking place as a part of Barbiche will be promoted through a radio show featuring an interview and the music of the performing acts. The show will be broadcasted each month on Alex Radio.
