With her eerily beautiful original compositions, characterised by atmospheric vocals and dense piano sounds, the musician and producer Ava Bonam opens the world to a mixture of classical, jazz and pop. Standing on their own, these compositions are freed from sets of rules and adapting individual elements of different styles. »It’s the acoustic sounds, the vibration of the instruments, to which I resonate most,« says multi-instrumentalist Ava Bonam. Her music releases, such as the 2017 album ›MAYA‹, feature acoustic songs as well as compositions on myths, legends and poetry. Ava Bonam’s folk-inspired pieces evade the noise of society, bringing forth long-forgotten memories.
In 2021, Ava Bonam is receiving a grant of 4,000 euros for the recording, mastering and release of an album.
