Katja Lucker is the Managing Director of Musicboard Berlin.
Born in Northern Germany, Katja Lucker began her career as an actress in Berlin in 1990 before establishing a successful career as a cultural manager. Her portfolio encompasses work at the Kesselhaus in the Kulturbrauerei and the Karneval der Kulturen as well as projects at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, where she collaborated with Karlheinz Stockhausen and others. From 2007 to 2012 she worked as project manager of creative industry for the RUHR.2010. In addition, Katja Lucker has been engaged in various Berlin music networks and was a member of various juries of within Berlin’s promotion of music. In 2012, Katja Lucker was appointed by Klaus Wowereit, the then-governing mayor of Berlin, to set up the Musicboard in order to provide new impulses within Berlin’s pop music scene. Since 2015, the Musicboard has also been responsible for organising the Pop-Kultur Festival under the lead of Katja Lucker.
Maureen Noe is the office manager of the Musicboard and the executive assistant of Katja Lucker.
Melike Öztürk is the project manager of Musiboard Berlin. She supports the applicants regarding all questions about funding applications, final reports, e.g. accounting.

Theresa Bachman assists Melike Öztürk, the project manager of Musiboard with the processing of the projects of all funding programs.
Jana Sylvester assists Melike Öztürk with the accounting of the funded projects and is in charge of the Pop-Kultur’s finances.
