M.E.S.H. began in 2011 with the release of the Share The Blame EP on Berlin’s Dyssembler Records. With a distinct sensibility drawing from sources as disparate as R&B, hardcore techno, and percussion-heavy bass music, and featuring remixes from Teengirl Fantasy, Arca and Craxxxmurf, this release led to DJ sets around Berlin at places like Chez Jacki, Berghain Kantine, and Kater Holzig, and international bookings at clubs like Under Bron in Stockholm, Social Club in Paris, and 285 Kent in Brooklyn. As a producer, M.E.S.H. makes tracks that are lush but hard-hitting. He recently produced a single for new DFA signing Dan Bodan, as well as a remix for Fade To Mind star Fatima Al Qadiri. He has also collaborated with contemporary artists such as Aleksandra Domanović and Anne de Vries. As a resident at the monthly Janus party in Kreuzberg, M.E.S.H. has helped create a club environment that breaks out of arbitrary genre constraints and which has served as a bridge connecting a particular global nightlife underground to Berlin, without hype or middlemen. Guests have included Total Freedom, Jam City, Renaissance Man, Physical Therapy, Venus X, DJ Sliink, and DJ Hvad. He is currently working on a release for PAN.
