Musicboard presents: Laura Lee & The Jettes at SPOT 2026

Since 2024, the Musicboard has collaborated with the SPOT Festival to showcase Berlin-based artists in Aarhus, Denmark, opening doors to the Nordic music market. The 2026 edition of the festival will take place on 1 and 2 May, featuring the Berlin band Laura Lee & The Jettes.

Laura Lee, known as one half of the internationally acclaimed indie duo Gurr, now leads one of Germany’s most exciting indie projects with Laura Lee & The Jettes. Their sound blends indie rock, post-punk, and Krautpop with bold hooks and a clear stance, delivering songs about self-determination, resistance, motherhood, and hope. Their debut album Wasteland (2021) was accompanied by appearances on BBC 6 Music and NPR, a first US tour, and support shows for the Beatsteaks – including two sold-out nights at Berlin’s Wuhlheide, which Lee played while eight months pregnant. On September 5, 2025, Laura Lee & The Jettes released their second album Tough Love Paradigm (Unsolicited Advice / The Orchard / Sony Music). Produced by Laura herself and mixed by Collin Dupuis (Lana Del Rey, Angel Olsen) and Rhys Edwards (Ulrika Spacek), the record shows the band at their most uncompromising, mature, and international yet. In 2025, the Musicboard already supported their tour with Von Wegen Lisbeth and is now presenting their gig at SPOT.
