RAYNE

RAYNE began experimenting with poetry early on, writing verses to leave behind for strangers on the walls of Berlin’s underground stations. At 19, words and sound first intertwined on RAYNE’s debut EP ›safe place‹ (2021), and later on the genre-blending debut album ›NEOPHYTE‹ (2023). The Berlin-based artist channels emotion-driven lyricism and neo-soul resonance to create worlds that feel both playful and intuitive. RAYNE draws continual inspiration from major artistic influences such as Erykah Badu, Biig Piig, and Bahamadia. Her single ›Crave‹ from the EP ›safe place‹ has reached 543,000 streams to date, cementing the artist’s first breakthrough.

In 2024, RAYNE receives a Musicboard scholarship of 4,500 euros to work on an EP.
